Natasha Chiam - President, Chief Executive Mama, and the original natural urban mama.

I have always had a passion for sales and also for finding hidden gems while shopping.  Having kids gave me a great outlet for my passions and a renewed appreciation for online shopping!. I did a lot of work researching, finding and sourcing some amazing products for my first born from some really great, small, mostly mama-run businesses and manufacturers.  And after a while I felt ready to gather all that I had found in one place and share all of my great mama and baby finds with the world.  And thus Natural Urban Mamas was born!

Babywearing has also been a very important aspect of my parenting, even before my first child was born.  It mattered to me that I was doing the best I could at it and that I had a really nice baby carrier or two (or 12) as well!!  I have had some amazing mentors and guides to help me in my babywearing journey and I feel that this has made all the difference for me.  Babywearing, and all the amazing benefits that go along with it, has made me the mama that I am today and it is also the foundation of Natural Urban Mamas.

I am a trained Babywearing Educator with over 4.5 years of babywearing experience. I feel it is important that all parents are taught this invaluable parenting skill and have all the tools and guidance necessary to be successful babywearers themselves.  At Natural Urban Mamas, not only will you find some of the most beautiful and unique baby carriers around (we like to keep it original around here), but you will also find the education and resources you need to start your own babywearing journey with your little ones!
