Product Details

These Baltic Amber chips (dark cherry, clear yellow, cognac) are on an elastic cord and the bracelet simply slips over the hand. It has no clasp, and there is no knotting between the beads. These chips are larger than the bracelets made of round(ish) nuggets (see picture below).

If you are interested in trying a Baltic Amber bracelet to alleviate the discomfort of arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome, you are in good company. Many adults report improvement of arthritis discomfort in their hands when wearing amber on the wrists. The bracelet should fit snugly when worn for theraputic reasons and worn as much as possible, including overnight.

Succinic acid is the most beneficial component of the amber. I have read that the darkest colored amber generally contains less succinic acid than lighter colors. I have also read that the more cloudy or opaque amber is, the more succinic acid it contains (and usually the more cloudy amber is the nearer to the color white it becomes).

Whether you are interested in trying a Baltic Amber necklace to experience it's pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties, or if you just think it will be fun to have jewelry that matches your little one . . .

Our necklaces and bracelets are handcrafted with amber beads imported from the Baltic Region. They are made of authentic Baltic amber, the most esteemed type of amber in the world. The translucency and color of amber depend on the amount of air bubbles contained within a piece of amber and their distribution. Some believe the color is related to the type of tree source.

Clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Avoid detergents and cleansers when possible as these substances over time will leave a residue on the amber that inhibits it's ability to release its healing properties into the skin.
